Maxime Sivis: French-Congolese right-back joins Orenburg from Dinamo Bucharest in €700k deal

French-DR Congo right-back Maxime Sivis has joined Russian Premier Liga side Orenburg from Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest in a €700,000 transfer.

The 28-year-old defender swaps Romania’s SuperLiga for Russia’s top flight in a permanent move agreed between the two clubs on 24 July 2026. The deal brings to an end Sivis’s spell with Dinamo, where he had been operating on the right side of defence.

Sivis, who is eligible to represent both France and DR Congo at international level, arrives in Orenburg with a market valuation matching the fee paid, set at around €700,000. His primary position is right-back, and he is expected to strengthen Orenburg’s options in wide defensive areas as they prepare for the new campaign.

The move also continues a cross-border trajectory in Sivis’s career, as he trades Romanian domestic football for a first experience in the Russian Premier Liga. His performances in the SuperLiga with Dinamo Bucharest helped establish him as a dependable option on the flank, prompting interest from abroad.

At 28, Sivis joins Orenburg with significant senior experience and in what is typically regarded as a player’s peak age for a defender. The transfer is a straightforward permanent switch, with the two clubs agreeing a single-fee structure rather than a loan or staged arrangement.

Sivis is now formally registered as an Orenburg player and will be available for selection once competition registration procedures are completed.
