Muiz Olawale: Nigerian midfielder joins Al-Dhaid from Dubai City FC
Nigerian midfielder Muiz Olawale has joined Al-Dhaid from Dubai City FC, with the 24-year-old central midfielder moving within the United Arab Emirates to continue his career in the First Division. The Lagos-born player strengthens Al-Dhaid’s options in the middle of the pitch after completing his switch on 24 July 2026.
Olawale, who is right-footed and stands at 1.73m, is primarily deployed in central midfield and arrives from fellow UAE side Dubai City FC, where he had been part of the senior set-up. His move keeps him in familiar surroundings in Emirati football while offering a fresh platform to push for regular starting opportunities.
The Nigeria national, born on 10 January 2002, has already gained experience in domestic cup competition in the UAE, making two appearances in the UAE President’s Cup and accumulating just over 100 minutes of playing time. That exposure to competitive knockout football provides a base for his integration at Al-Dhaid as they look to add depth and energy in central areas.
Raised in Lagos before moving abroad to pursue his professional career, Olawale now links up with Al-Dhaid SC with immediate effect. The transfer from Dubai City FC to Al-Dhaid is a completed move, with the midfielder now registered as part of the Al-Dhaid squad.
