Isah Aliyu Ndala: Nigerian midfielder joins Ranchers Bees on free transfer from Wikki Tourists

Nigerian defensive midfielder Isah Aliyu Ndala has joined Rancher’s Bees on a free transfer from Wikki Tourists. The 23-year-old, whose primary role is to protect the back line from the base of midfield, moves within Nigeria after his contract with Wikki came to an end.

Ndala, a right-footed holding midfielder, becomes one of the latest additions to Rancher’s Bees’ squad ahead of the new NPFL campaign. His move comes with a current market value of €25,000, underlining the club’s decision to strengthen its central midfield options without paying a fee.

The switch to Rancher’s Bees continues a career that has already taken Ndala across several clubs in Nigeria and East Africa. Before joining Wikki Tourists in 2025, he had a spell at Plateau United, having initially linked up with the Jos side following a short period without a club earlier in the 2024–25 season.

Ndala previously spent time in Tanzania, where he played for Azam FC and had a loan stint at KMC FC during the 2023–24 campaign. His move back to Plateau United from Azam in 2022 followed an earlier period with Armenian side FC Sevan, which he had joined from Plateau United in 2021.

The midfielder first emerged in Nigerian top-flight football with Nasarawa United in 2018, earning a free transfer to Plateau United the following year. Ndala’s latest move to Rancher’s Bees is a permanent free transfer from Wikki Tourists ahead of the 2026–27 season.
