Hull City jump ahead in race for Nigeria star Femi Azeez

Hull City have reportedly moved ahead of their Championship rivals in the pursuit of Nigerian winger Femi Azeez, with the Tigers positioning themselves as favourites to secure the highly-rated attacker.

The 25-year-old Millwall forward has become one of the most sought-after players in the second tier following a standout 2025/26 campaign, where his performances earned widespread recognition across the division.

Azeez’s form has attracted interest from several clubs, including Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town, who had previously explored a possible move for the versatile winger. However, their pursuit is understood to have cooled after they completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Abdul Fatawu from Leicester City.

Millwall hold firm on £15m valuation

Despite the growing transfer speculation, Millwall are reportedly determined to retain the services of their attacking asset unless their valuation is met.

The Lions are said to be unwilling to consider offers below £15 million for Azeez, who still has two years left on his current contract at The Den.
