Othman Faridi: Moroccan midfielder joins Volpiano Pianese on free transfer from Saluzzo

Moroccan midfielder Othman Faridi has joined Italian side Volpiano Pianese on a free transfer from Serie D club Saluzzo. The 32-year-old central midfielder has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the Piedmont-based outfit.

Faridi, who prefers to operate in the centre of midfield and is right-footed, makes the switch after spending the last four years with Saluzzo. His move comes with his current market value listed at €50,000, reflecting his standing as an experienced option in Italy’s lower divisions.

The Casablanca-born player is no stranger to the regional football scene, having first left Saluzzo for Moretta in 2017. He returned to Saluzzo in 2022, again on a free transfer, before now securing a new chapter with Volpiano Pianese.

By landing Faridi without a fee, Volpiano Pianese add a seasoned midfielder with extensive knowledge of the local game and repeated experience of changing clubs within the same competitive environment.

Faridi’s contract with Volpiano Pianese is scheduled to run through to the end of June 2027, confirming a long-term commitment between player and club.
