Seif El Agouz: Egyptian midfielder joins A. Abo Qir from Pharco FC

Egyptian defensive midfielder Seif El Agouz has joined A. Abo Qir from Pharco FC as the Premier League club reshapes its midfield options for the new campaign.

The 24-year-old, who plays primarily as a holding midfielder and favours his right foot, moves after an 18-month spell on the books of Pharco. He completed his switch on 23 July 2026 and is immediately available for his new side.

El Agouz arrives at A. Abo Qir with a market value of €50,000, reflecting a period in which he has gained experience across several Egyptian clubs. He first made the step up to senior football with El Gouna after progressing from their U23 ranks, before a series of moves that kept him in the top two tiers of the domestic game.

After breaking into El Gouna’s first team, El Agouz joined El Mokawloon in 2022 and later spent time on loan at Aswan SC during the 2022-23 season. A return to El Mokawloon was followed by a switch back to El Gouna, then a permanent move to Pharco in January 2024.

Last season he spent a loan spell with Kahraba from July 2025 to June 2026, returning to Pharco at the end of that agreement before sealing his latest move. His arrival gives A. Abo Qir another specialist option in the screening role in front of the back four.

El Agouz’s transfer from Pharco FC to A. Abo Qir is a completed move ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
