Barcelona step back from Bradley Barcola pursuit

Barcelona have decided not to pursue a summer move for Paris Saint‑Germain winger Bradley Barcola, stepping away from a race that is expected to feature several heavyweight clubs.

Diario Sport reports that, despite agent Jorge Mendes raising Barcola’s name in recent meetings with Barcelona executives, the Catalan side feel they are already well covered in wide attacking areas following the arrivals of Karim Adeyemi and Anthony Gordon.

Barcola recently switched representation to agent Moussa Sissoko, a change that has opened the door to a potential high‑value departure from PSG, with any deal expected to exceed 100 million euros. With Barcelona effectively ruling themselves out, Premier League club Liverpool are now viewed as the leading contenders for the French international, as PSG continue to reshape their forward line.

Bayern Munich are also already thinking ahead as Michael Olise’s future continues to attract attention from Real Madrid. If the French winger does leave, Bradley Barcola has emerged as one of the main names on the Bavarian club’s shortlist.
