Nzanza: Angola striker joins Castellon from Leca in €60k deal
Angolan centre-forward Nzanza has joined Spanish side Castellon from Portuguese club Leca in a permanent transfer worth €60,000. The 22-year-old arrives as the LaLiga2 outfit add to their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
Born in Luanda and standing at 1.83m, Nzanza operates through the middle and prefers his right foot. He moves to Spain after helping Leca claim the Campeonato de Portugal title in the 2025-26 season, a success that has pushed him onto a bigger stage after just one year with the club.
Nzanza had only joined Leca in August 2025 on a free transfer from Banik Ostrava B, having previously spent time in both Portugal and the Czech Republic. His path has taken him from Interclube’s youth ranks in Angola to Braga’s B and under-23 teams, before spells at 1.SC Znojmo and Banik Ostrava B paved the way for his return to Portuguese football.
The forward’s new deal with Castellon has been completed following his move on 23 July 2026, with the club securing a player whose rise has included a national third-tier title in Portugal and a subsequent step up to Spain’s second division.
