Joseph Ganda: Israel-DR Congo winger joins FC Ingolstadt on free transfer from Hannover 96 II

FC Ingolstadt have signed Israel-DR Congo winger Joseph Ganda on a free transfer from Hannover 96 II. The 29-year-old right-sided attacker moves into the 3. Liga after spending last season in the German fourth tier with Hannover’s reserve team.

Ganda, born in Tel Aviv and comfortable on both feet, arrives with experience across Germany, Austria and Israel. Standing at 1.86m, he is expected to operate primarily on the right wing for Ingolstadt as they strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

The move continues a busy few years for Ganda, who joined Hannover 96 II in 2025 after a spell with Teutonia 05. Before returning to Germany, he featured in the Israeli top flight with FC Ashdod and Bnei Sakhnin, having already played in the Bundesliga with FC Augsburg II’s senior pathway and in Austria for Admira Wacker.

Across his career, Ganda has accumulated more than 150 senior appearances in league and cup competitions, including games in the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, Austrian Bundesliga and Israel’s Ligat ha’Al. He has produced regular contributions in front of goal at regional level in Germany, notably registering double figures in goals in the Regionalliga Nord.

Ganda’s honours include winning the Israeli second tier and experiencing a relegation from the 2. Bundesliga with SV Sandhausen, underlining a career spent at a competitive level across multiple countries.

The winger, whose current market valuation stands at around €75,000, links up with FC Ingolstadt immediately after completing his free transfer from Hannover 96 II.
