Aymen Ezzine: Tunisian striker joins Hammam Sousse on free transfer

Tunisia centre-forward Aymen Ezzine has joined Hammam Sousse on a free transfer from Sfax Railways. The 32-year-old has signed a contract with the Ligue 1 club running until 30 June 2028.

Ezzine, who stands at 1.91m and is right-footed, moves after two seasons with Sfax Railways, having first arrived there in August 2024. His switch keeps him in Tunisian football’s top flight as Hammam Sousse strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

The experienced forward has accumulated top-division minutes in Tunisia, featuring in Ligue 1 and the relegation phase, as well as in the Tunisian Cup. Across those competitions he has registered goals in both the league and the domestic cup, offering a physical presence through the middle of the attack.

Before his spell with Sfax Railways, Ezzine had stints with Rafik Sorman and Libyan side Al-Wahda Tripoli, following earlier periods at Tunisian clubs including AS Marsa, EGS Gafsa and CA Bizertin. His career has largely been built in North African football, with moves between Tunisia and Libya shaping his development as a senior professional.

Ezzine was born on 14 November 1993 and will be 34 when his deal with Hammam Sousse is due to expire. The agreement confirms his status as a long-term option in the club’s forward line after completing his free transfer from Sfax Railways.
