Karim Ait Mohamed: Moroccan midfielder joins Widad Temara on free transfer from Kenitra
Moroccan midfielder Karim Ait Mohamed has joined Widad Temara on a free transfer from Kenitra, strengthening the Botola Pro Inwi side’s options in central midfield.
The 26-year-old Agadir-born player moves after two seasons with Kenitra, with the switch confirmed on 23 July 2026. He is listed as a central midfielder and will operate in the middle of the park for his new club as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
Ait Mohamed arrives with solid top-flight experience, having made 72 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi, scoring four goals and providing three assists. Across those league outings he has accumulated 4,873 minutes, underlining his ability to feature regularly over a full season.
He also brings continental and domestic cup know-how. The midfielder has featured nine times in the CAF Confederation Cup and has appeared in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, where he has added an assist, as well as in the Excellence Cup, where he also registered a goal contribution.
Before his spell at Kenitra, Ait Mohamed played for RCA Zemamra, joining them in 2023 after leaving Hassania, the club where he progressed from youth level into senior football. He first stepped up from HUSA Youth to HUSA U21 in 2017 before breaking into the Hassania first team two years later.
Ait Mohamed’s free-transfer move from Kenitra to Widad Temara is effective immediately following the completion of the 2026 summer switch.
