Morgan Fabender: German-Ghanaian Nieciecza striker linked with Korona Kielce move

German-Ghanaian forward Morgan Fabender of Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza is being linked with a move to Ekstraklasa side Korona Kielce as the top-flight club look to strengthen their attack before the new campaign.

Fabender, 27, has emerged as a target after establishing himself in Poland’s second tier, where he has scored nine league goals for Nieciecza in Betclic 1 Liga. Standing at 1.88m and capable of using both feet, he has been deployed through the middle as a centre-forward and offers a different physical profile to many forwards currently available to clubs in the Polish top flight.

Korona, who compete in the Ekstraklasa, are understood to be assessing options across the domestic market, with Fabender’s experience in both Poland and Germany adding to his appeal. His current market valuation is around €300,000, a figure that would represent a relatively modest outlay for a club at that level.

Fabender joined Nieciecza from German side SV Meppen on a free transfer in July 2023 and remains under contract until 30 June 2027, meaning any move this summer would require a negotiated fee rather than a pre-contract agreement. He has already featured in the Ekstraklasa with Nieciecza, making 29 appearances in the Polish top division and registering three goals and two assists, experience that could ease any transition were he to change clubs.

Born in Stuttgart in October 1998, Fabender holds both German and Ghanaian nationality, and has worked his way up through various regional and youth competitions before establishing himself as a professional in Germany’s 3. Liga and then in Poland. For now, he remains tied to Nieciecza on a long-term deal, leaving Korona Kielce to decide whether to formalise their interest with an offer.
