Hamdi Chairet: Tunisian goalkeeper joins Olympique Beja from Stade Gabesien

Tunisian goalkeeper Hamdi Chairet has joined Olympique Beja from Stade Gabesien, signing a deal with the Ligue 1 side that runs until 30 June 2028. The 26-year-old moves within Tunisian football as Beja strengthen their options in goal ahead of the new campaign.

Chairet, born on 17 September 1999, has established himself as a senior professional in his homeland and now takes the next step of his career with a club competing in the top tier. His arrival was confirmed on 23 July 2026, the same date his move from Stade Gabesien was finalised.

The goalkeeper’s switch comes after a spell with Stade Gabesien, where he gained experience in domestic competition before earning the chance to move to Ligue 1. By securing a contract through to 2028, Olympique Beja have committed to Chairet as part of their longer-term planning in a key position.

Chairet’s primary role will be as a goalkeeper, adding depth and competition in Beja’s squad as they prepare for the challenges of the Tunisian top flight. His nationality also means he fits seamlessly into the domestic player structure at the club.

The move is effective immediately, with Chairet now registered as an Olympique Beja player on a contract running until the end of June 2028.
