Pape Habib Gueye: Kasimpasa’s Senegalese striker linked with move to E. Erokspor

Senegalese forward Pape Habib Gueye of Kasimpasa is being linked with a move to Turkish 1. Lig side E. Erokspor, with the second-tier club exploring the possibility of bringing in the 26-year-old centre-forward.

Gueye, who joined Kasimpasa on 1 August 2025 and is under contract until 30 June 2029, would require a transfer fee for any deal to be completed, with his current market value standing at around €1.2 million. The Istanbul club are thought to be reluctant to lose a player tied to such a long-term agreement, but E. Erokspor are weighing up whether they can finance a move.

The 1.88m right-footed striker has experience across several European leagues and has already featured in Turkey’s Super Lig, registering 26 appearances and five goals. His time in Norway with Aalesunds and Kristiansund was particularly productive in front of goal, including 22 strikes in 53 OBOS-ligaen outings, and he has also played in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League and Scotland’s Premiership.

Gueye’s profile has been enhanced by silverware in Scotland, having won the Scottish Cup with Aberdeen in the 2024-25 season before his switch to Kasimpasa. That move from Pittodrie came after a series of spells that showcased his ability to adapt to different competitions and styles of play across Europe.

With E. Erokspor looking to strengthen their attack from within the Turkish market, Gueye’s situation at Kasimpasa – secured on a deal running to 2029 – remains a significant factor in whether any approach can progress beyond initial interest.
