Yannick Mausehund: German-Cameroonian 1.FC Koln II defender linked with TSV Havelse move

German-Cameroonian centre-back Yannick Mausehund of 1.FC Koln II is being linked with a move to TSV Havelse in Germany’s 3. Liga. The 20-year-old is currently playing in the Regionalliga West but is attracting interest from the third tier as Havelse look to reinforce their defensive options ahead of the new campaign.

Mausehund, who is under contract at Koln until 30 June 2027, would require a transfer fee rather than being available on a free, with his current market value understood to be around €100,000. Any deal would therefore represent a relatively low-cost addition for Havelse, while still demanding a decision from Koln on whether to cash in on a young defender tied down to a long-term agreement.

A move to Havelse would represent a step up the pyramid for Mausehund, shifting from regional league football to the national stage in 3. Liga. That change in level is thought to be a key factor in the player’s consideration of his next career move, with the possibility of increased visibility and more regular exposure to higher-intensity competition.

Koln II, competing in the Regionalliga West, have used their second team as a pathway for emerging players, and Mausehund’s contractual security gives the club leverage in any negotiations.
