Youssoupha Ndiaye: Senegalese defender joins GOAL FC on free transfer

Senegalese-French centre-back Youssoupha Ndiaye has joined GOAL FC from Stade Briochin on a free transfer in the National 1.

The 28-year-old, who stands at 1.90m and plays predominantly on the right side of central defence, makes the switch between the two National 1 groups after spending last season with Stade Briochin. The move keeps him in the French third tier but offers a fresh start with Grand Ouest Association Lyonnaise FC.

Ndiaye arrives at GOAL FC with considerable experience across the French pyramid. Born in Dakar and raised in the Lyon football scene, he has featured in Ligue 2 and Ligue 3 as well as the Coupe de France, accumulating over 120 senior appearances in all competitions. In league action in Ligue 3 alone he has played 87 matches, scoring five goals and providing four assists.

His career has included spells at Paris FC and SC Lyon before a series of moves through the lower divisions, including St-C Henon and Chassieu Decines, prior to rejoining Stade Briochin. He previously spent time on loan at the Brittany club from Paris FC before returning there on a permanent basis.

Ndiaye, whose current estimated market value is €75,000, joins GOAL FC with immediate effect following the completion of his free transfer from Stade Briochin on 22 July 2026.
