Younes Taha: Torino eye move for FC Twente winger in Serie A raid

Morocco and Netherlands dual-national Younes Taha, currently at FC Twente, is being linked with a move to Serie A side Torino as the Italians explore attacking reinforcements for the new season.

The 23-year-old right winger is under contract with Twente until 30 June 2027, a deal that strengthens the Dutch club’s position in any negotiations. Taha is valued at around €4m and Torino are understood to be weighing up whether to test Twente’s resolve with a formal approach as the transfer window develops.

Taha has established himself in the Eredivisie, making more than 60 league appearances and contributing goals and assists from the right flank. A left-footed attacker who operates predominantly on the right, he returned to Enschede this summer after a loan spell at FC Groningen, where he gained further top-flight experience.

Born in Amsterdam in November 2002, Taha joined Twente from PEC Zwolle in July 2023 in a deal worth €1.2m, stepping up after a prolific spell in the Dutch second tier. His progress has also been reflected on the international stage, where he was part of the Morocco U23 side that won the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations in 2023.

With two years remaining on his Twente contract, any agreement with Torino would likely require the Serie A club to come close to the winger’s current valuation. At this stage, the move remains at the rumour stage, with Taha preparing for the new campaign as a member of Twente’s attacking options.
