Ibrahima Aidara: Senegal winger joins Teungueth FC on free transfer from Wally Daan

Senegalese winger Ibrahima Aidara has joined Teungueth FC on a free transfer from Ligue 1 rivals Wally Daan. The 24-year-old left-sided attacker moves within the Senegalese top flight ahead of the new campaign after his deal with Wally Daan came to an end.

Aidara, who was born in Thies and stands at 1.77m, operates mainly as a left winger but plays on his right foot, offering Teungueth an option to cut inside from the flank. His arrival continues a steady rise through domestic football, capped by this move to one of the league’s established clubs.

Last season, Aidara featured in 16 Ligue 1 matches, scoring once and providing one assist in 986 minutes of action. That run of games with Wally Daan, where he arrived in 2024 also on a free transfer from Jamono Fatick, gave him regular top-flight experience and a platform to secure his latest move.

Before stepping up to Wally Daan, Aidara spent two years with Jamono Fatick following his promotion from the youth ranks at Amitie FC. He advanced from Amitie’s U17 side to the U20s and then the senior team, building a pathway through the domestic system rather than moving abroad at a young age.

Aidara, whose current market valuation stands at around €75,000, joins Teungueth FC with immediate effect following the completion of his free transfer from Wally Daan.
