Albert Bougazelli: Senegal winger joins Teungueth FC on free transfer from Wally Daan
Senegalese right winger Albert Bougazelli has joined Teungueth FC on a free transfer from Ligue 1 rivals Wally Daan. The 29-year-old moves within the Senegalese top flight after his contract with Wally Daan ended, strengthening Teungueth’s attacking options on the flanks.
Bougazelli arrives with a market value listed at €50,000 and operates primarily on the right wing, where he is known for his right-footed play and 1.80m frame. His switch to Teungueth FC has been confirmed ahead of the new campaign, with the club adding an experienced wide player who has featured both domestically and in continental competition.
Last season Bougazelli played in Senegal’s Ligue 1 and also appeared in both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, making a total of 16 outings across the three competitions. He registered one assist in the Confederation Cup and accumulated more than 700 minutes of football in all competitions, underlining his role as a regular squad member at his previous club.
Born in Ziguinchor, Bougazelli has built his career across several Senegalese sides, including stints at Ndiambour, ASC Niarry, Generation Foot and Sacre Cœur, as well as a spell abroad with North Macedonian club FC Shkupi. He joined Wally Daan in October 2024 on a free transfer before earning his latest move.
The winger’s transfer to Teungueth FC was completed on 22 July 2026 as a free transfer within Senegal’s Ligue 1.
