Soufiane Belward: Italy-Morocco winger joins Pennarossa on free transfer from Fiorentino
Italy-Morocco winger Soufiane Belward has joined Pennarossa on a free transfer from Campionato Sammarinese rivals Fiorentino.
The 22-year-old right-sided attacker has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 after leaving Fiorentino at the end of the 2025-26 campaign. His move keeps him in San Marino’s top flight, where he has built his career over the past few seasons.
Belward arrives at Pennarossa with steady experience in the division, having made 57 league appearances with nine goals and four assists in the Campionato Sammarinese, as well as adding further contributions in the play-offs and Coppa Titano. Across all domestic competitions, he has passed 4,600 minutes of senior football, largely from the right flank in attack.
The winger only joined Fiorentino in July 2024, also on a free transfer, after a spell with Santa Sofia. Before that he featured for Civitella, having first stepped into senior football with Diegaro in 2022. His latest switch continues a sequence of moves within the region that have given him regular minutes at a young age.
Belward’s current market valuation stands at around €50,000, underlining Pennarossa’s decision to secure him without a transfer fee and commit him to a one-year deal.
The Italy- and Morocco-eligible forward is now officially registered as a Pennarossa player for the 2026-27 Campionato Sammarinese season.
