Sylvester Jasper: Zulte Waregem eye move for Bulgaria-Nigeria winger from Zeleznicar Pancevo

Sylvester Jasper, the Bulgaria-Nigeria winger currently at Serbian side FK Zeleznicar Pancevo, is being linked with a move to Belgian club Zulte Waregem in the Jupiler Pro League. The 24-year-old left winger has emerged as a potential attacking reinforcement after a bright start to the new Serbian SuperLiga campaign.

Jasper only joined Zeleznicar Pancevo on 3 July 2025 from Polish club Slask Wroclaw and is under contract in Serbia until 30 June 2027, meaning any deal would require the Belgians to negotiate a transfer fee. He is currently valued at around €1.8 million, a figure that is likely to frame discussions between the clubs.

Born in London and operating mainly from the left flank despite being right-footed, Jasper has already made an impact in the 2026-27 SuperLiga season, registering an assist in his first appearance and being directly involved in half of his team’s goals so far. His early influence for Zeleznicar Pancevo appears to have accelerated interest from abroad.

Jasper’s move to Serbia followed a spell in Poland with Slask Wroclaw and an earlier stint in Portugal at Portimonense after leaving Fulham’s youth ranks in 2023. He had previously gained senior experience through loan spells at Hibernian, Bristol Rovers and Colchester United.

For now, Jasper remains a Zeleznicar Pancevo player and is just one year into a two-year deal, leaving his current club in a strong position should Zulte Waregem decide to advance their interest.
