John Patrick Edeh: Nigerian forward joins Ceska Lipa on loan from Liberec B

Nigerian centre-forward John Patrick Edeh has joined Czech side Ceska Lipa on loan from Liberec B for the 2026-27 season. The 19-year-old has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 as he moves to the club competing in the CNL.

Edeh makes the switch after a productive spell with Liberec B in the Czech Football League, where he scored four goals and provided two assists in nine appearances. He averaged a goal every 113 minutes across 452 minutes of action, underlining his impact in senior football despite his age.

The forward joined Liberec B in August 2025 from Young Mayors on a free transfer and quickly established himself as an attacking option through the middle. His performances at that level have now earned him a first loan move higher up the pyramid as Ceska Lipa look to strengthen their attacking options.

Born on 20 November 2006, Edeh represents Nigeria and is listed primarily as a centre-forward, offering Ceska Lipa a central attacking presence for the coming campaign. The loan agreement runs through the full 2026-27 season, after which he is scheduled to return to Liberec B at the end of June 2027.

Edeh’s transfer was completed on 21 July 2026, with the Nigerian forward now officially registered as a Ceska Lipa player on a season-long loan.
