Assane Beye: Senegal Centre-Back Linked with Hassania Move After Becoming Free Agent
Senegal defender Assane Beye, currently without a club, is being linked with a move to Moroccan side Hassania in the Botola Pro Inwi.
The 26-year-old centre-back, a left-footer born in Gossas, is available on a free transfer after his most recent contract came to an end this summer. Hassania are understood to be exploring a deal for the player as they look to strengthen their defensive options ahead of the new Moroccan top-flight campaign.
Beye has significant experience in the Botola Pro Inwi, having made 64 league appearances and scored six goals in the competition. That run included more than 5,400 minutes of action, underlining his regular involvement at this level and familiarity with Moroccan domestic football.
He has also featured in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine and has been valued at around €450,000 as of late June, a figure that could make him an accessible target for a club seeking to add an experienced central defender without paying a transfer fee.
Beye has been registered as without a club since the start of July, leaving him free to negotiate with interested sides outside of the usual transfer constraints. With no contract currently tying him down, his future remains open as Hassania assess whether to turn their interest into a formal offer.
