Morocco star Abdel Samad Ezzalzouli returns to Betis training after injury setback

Moroccan international Abdel Samad Ezzalzouli is set to make his return to group training with Real Betis after spending more than a month on the sidelines due to a knee injury that ruled him out of Morocco’s 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

According to reports, the winger is expected to rejoin his teammates on Monday after completing a specialized recovery programme in France under the supervision of a medical specialist.

Ezzalzouli returned to Seville following the treatment and is now preparing to resume normal training with the Betis squad as the club continues its preparations for the new season.
