Yannick Eduardo joins ADO Den Haag on loan
TSG Hoffenheim have sent young striker Yannick Eduardo on loan to newly promoted Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag for the upcoming season, giving the 20-year-old a valuable chance to gain regular first-team minutes in the Netherlands.
The Bundesliga club announced the move on Tuesday, stressing that the deal is designed to accelerate his development rather than signal a permanent parting of ways.
“We signed Yannick in the winter because he has the attributes to become a successful Bundesliga striker,” explained Frank Kramer, Hoffenheim’s Academy and U23 sporting director.
He stressed that the next step on Eduardo’s path is consistent game time at a high level, something Hoffenheim cannot yet guarantee given the competition in attack. In Den Haag, Eduardo will reunite with head coach Robin Peter, whom he previously worked with at RB Leipzig.
The Czech Under-21 international only joined Hoffenheim in February 2026. In the second half of the season he made one Bundesliga appearance and featured 11 times for the reserves in the 3. Liga, scoring once. Hoffenheim now hope that a season as a probable starter in the Eredivisie will toughen him up and prepare him to seriously challenge for a place in their senior squad in 2027.
