Bourama Diallo: Mali Midfielder at Djoliba AC Linked with Shakhtar Donetsk Move

Malian defensive midfielder Bourama Diallo of Djoliba AC is being linked with a move to Ukrainian Premier Liga side Shakhtar Donetsk as the 27-year-old attracts interest after breaking onto the continental stage.

Diallo, who joined Djoliba AC in July 2025, has recently featured in CAF Champions League action, making two appearances and adding further minutes in the CAF Confederation Cup. His exposure in African continental competition is understood to have alerted Shakhtar’s recruitment team as they explore options to reinforce the base of their midfield.

Standing at 1.70m and operating primarily as a defensive midfielder, Diallo has developed his career across several clubs before returning to Mali with Djoliba.
