Yussif Musah: Ghanaian defender joins Kolkheti Poti on free transfer from Dinamo II

Ghanaian centre-back Yussif Musah has joined Georgian side Kolkheti Poti on a free transfer from Dinamo II. The 18-year-old completes a permanent move within Georgia ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, strengthening Kolkheti’s defensive options for their Erovnuli Liga 2 season.

Musah, who stands at 1.96m and is right-footed, arrives in Poti after a spell with Dinamo’s second team, having moved there in March 2026. His switch to Kolkheti was finalised on 21 July 2026 and follows a rapid rise through club football since turning 18 in February.

The Ghanaian is yet to feature this year in either the Georgian Super Cup or the Erovnuli Liga, but his physical profile and specialist role at centre-back give Kolkheti an additional option at the heart of their back line. He joins a squad preparing for the demands of league and cup competitions, with Kolkheti yet to use him in competitive action this season.

Musah’s contract in Poti has not been publicly detailed, but his registration with Kolkheti marks his first move into a senior first-team environment after his time with Dinamo II. Born on 15 February 2008, he becomes one of the youngest defenders in the Erovnuli Liga 2 set-up.

The Ghanaian’s transfer to Kolkheti Poti is registered as a free transfer and takes effect from 21 July 2026.
