Salaheddine Bahi: Moroccan defender joins Al-Dhaid from RCA Zemamra in completed move

Al-Dhaid have added experienced Moroccan centre-back Salaheddine Bahi to their squad after the 31-year-old completed a move from RCA Zemamra. The left-footed defender joins the United Arab Emirates club following a spell back in Moroccan football with the Botola Pro Inwi side.

Bahi, born in Azemmour and standing at 1.85m, switches to Al-Dhaid having built a reputation as a reliable presence at the heart of defence. He was most recently on the books of RCA Zemamra, whom he joined in January 2026 after a free transfer from Indian side Bengaluru FC earlier in the same season.

The move continues a career that has taken Bahi across North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. After emerging from DHJ’s youth ranks, he first made his name with Ben Guerir before earning a transfer to Raja Casablanca, where he was part of a successful period for the club.

During his time with Raja, Bahi collected continental honours, winning the CAF Confederation Cup in 2017-18 and lifting the CAF Super Cup the following season. He later represented AS FAR Rabat and Mouloudia before heading to Saudi Arabia with Arar FC and then returning to Moroccan domestic football.

In the Moroccan top flight and domestic cup competitions, Bahi has accumulated more than 130 senior appearances, contributing a handful of goals and assists while largely operating as a central defender. He has also gained experience in African competition through the CAF Confederation Cup, adding further depth to his profile.

Bahi officially joins Al-Dhaid on 20 July 2026, bringing his extensive Botola Pro and continental experience to the UAE club’s back line.
