Bondok: Egyptian midfielder joins Nabaroh on free transfer after spell without club
Egyptian midfielder Bondok has joined Nabaroh on a free transfer, ending his short spell without a club and signing a contract until 30 June 2028.
The 34-year-old central midfielder, born in Giza, arrives as a free agent after leaving Baladiya earlier in the 2025-26 season and subsequently spending time unattached. His move to Nabaroh was completed on 20 July 2026.
Bondok is primarily a central midfielder and brings extensive domestic experience to his new team. Over the past few seasons he has featured for several Egyptian sides, including Baladiya, Kahraba and WE SC, switching between those clubs mainly on free transfers.
Before that sequence of moves, he spent time at Future FC before joining Telecom Egypt SC in 2021, establishing himself as a familiar presence in Egyptian club football. His career pathway has largely kept him within the national game, offering Nabaroh a player well versed in the local league environment.
In cup competition, Bondok has made appearances in the Egypt Cup, featuring twice and accumulating 77 minutes of playing time, underlining his role as a squad option in knockout fixtures.
By committing to a two-year deal, Nabaroh have secured an experienced midfield option through to the end of the 2027-28 campaign, with the transfer confirmed as a free move from his previous status without a club.
