Amin Bouzaig: Morocco-Spain striker joins CD Numancia on free transfer

Dual-national forward Amin Bouzaig has joined CD Numancia on a free transfer from Ourense, with the Morocco-Spain striker signing a deal until 30 June 2027. The 29-year-old centre-forward moves across the Spanish lower leagues after a prolific campaign that saw his stock rise to a market value of around €300,000.

Bouzaig leaves Ourense having played a leading role in their attack in the Segunda Federacion. Across his time in Spain’s third and fourth tiers he has built a consistent scoring record, registering 18 league goals in 45 appearances in one Segunda Federacion group and adding further strikes as he stepped up to the Primera Federacion, where he also contributed assists.

His most eye-catching performances came in cup competition last season, when he finished as top scorer in the Copa Federacion with seven goals in six matches. That scoring run helped Ourense lift the Copa RFEF title in 2025-26, securing the first major honour of his senior career.

Born in Adeje and standing at 1.81m, Bouzaig operates primarily as a central striker and prefers his right foot. He has spent the bulk of his career in Spanish football, with spells at clubs including Real Murcia, UCAM Murcia and various sides in the lower divisions before re-establishing himself at Ourense.

Bouzaig’s switch to Numancia is a permanent free transfer effective from 20 July 2026, tying the forward to the Segunda Federacion Group V side for the 2026-27 season.
