FAR Rabat intensify efforts for permanent acquisition of Al Ahly winger Reda Selim

Moroccan giants FAR Rabat have intensified their efforts to secure the permanent signing of Reda Selim from Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly, with negotiations between the two clubs currently ongoing.

In an interview, the spokesperson for FAR Rabat Nafeh Al-Rifai reiterated his outfit desire to secure the services of the attacker on a permanent from the Egyptian giants.

“We have submitted an official offer to Al Ahly Club in order to sign Reda Selim permanently, especially in light of the player’s desire to continue his journey with us after the outstanding level he presented during the last season, and we are waiting for Al Ahly’s final position,” the spokesperson said.

“Reda Selim informed the club’s management and coaching staff, and also spoke with his teammates, of his desire to continue with the Royal Army team during the next season,” the spokesperson added.

The winger’s strong performances and commitment to staying have encouraged FAR Rabat to continue negotiations, with the club hoping to reach an agreement with Al Ahly soon.

“Given Reda Selim’s desire and insistence on staying with the team, we officially contacted Al Ahly and submitted an offer to purchase the player’s contract permanently. Negotiations between the two parties are still ongoing,” the spokesperson concluded.

Selim joined Al Ahly with a strong reputation after impressing in Moroccan football, but competition for places at the Cairo-based club limited his opportunities. His loan move to FAR Rabat provided him with regular playing time and allowed him to showcase his attacking qualities once again.
