Christ Inao Oulaï Unveiled as Fiorentina Player

Fiorentina have officially completed the signing of Ivory Coast midfielder Christ Ravynel Inao Oulaï, ending days of speculation over his future and confirming his move from Turkish side Trabzonspor ahead of the new season.

The Serie A club announced the arrival of the 20-year-old on Sunday evening through its official communication channels after the final stages of the transfer were completed. Oulaï now begins a new chapter in Italy following a breakthrough campaign in Turkey.

Although Fiorentina did not reveal the terms of the agreement or the duration of the player’s contract, Trabzonspor provided details of the transfer through their X account.

The Turkish club stated that the deal was worth €30 million, including bonuses, and also included a 10% sell-on clause in their favour.

The move marks another significant milestone in the career of the young midfielder, whose performances over the past season established him as one of the emerging talents in Ivorian football.

Oulaï enjoyed an impressive campaign with Trabzonspor, making 31 appearances in all competitions. During that time, he registered six goal contributions, scoring two goals and providing four assists, while helping the club secure the Turkish Cup.

His performances also earned him recognition on the international stage. The midfielder received his first call-up to the Ivory Coast national team, representing the Elephants at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations before also featuring at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Those achievements have paved the way for his move to one of Italy’s leading clubs, where he will continue his development in Serie A.

Fiorentina’s announcement brings an end to weeks of anticipation surrounding Oulaï’s future, with interest in the midfielder growing following his strong displays in both domestic and international competitions.

The transfer also represents a major success for Trabzonspor, who secured a significant transfer fee while retaining a percentage of any future sale through the agreed 10% sell-on clause.

For Oulaï, the move offers the opportunity to test himself in one of Europe’s top leagues as he continues the next phase of his career.

After establishing himself in Turkey and taking his first steps on the international stage with Ivory Coast, the midfielder will now look to build on that progress in Florence as he embarks on a new challenge with Fiorentina.
