Algerian Ligue 1: Guinea midfielder Alhassane Bangoura swaps MC Algiers for JS El Biar
Guinea midfielder Alhassane Bangoura has joined JS El Biar from MC Algiers, completing a move within Algeria’s Ligue 1. The 21-year-old central midfielder makes the switch after a spell in the capital with MC Algiers, strengthening a JS El Biar side preparing for the new top-flight campaign.
Bangoura arrives as a central option for JS El Biar, adding depth and competition in the middle of the pitch. The transfer is a completed deal between two Ligue 1 clubs, with both sides active in reshaping their squads ahead of the forthcoming season.
Having been on the books at MC Algiers, Bangoura now continues his professional career in the same division but in a new environment. His move underlines JS El Biar’s intention to recruit younger players who already have experience of Algerian top-flight football structures.
Bangoura, who represents Guinea at national level, is entering a key stage of his development as he takes on a fresh challenge in Algiers. His market value is currently listed at around €250,000, reflecting the regard in which the midfielder is held at this stage of his career.
The deal, completed on 19 July 2026, sees Bangoura registered as a JS El Biar player in time for the upcoming Ligue 1 season.
