Mlungisi Zwane: South African winger joins Kruger United from Casric Stars

South African winger Mlungisi Zwane has joined Betway Premiership side Kruger United from Casric Stars in a completed move that strengthens the top-flight club’s wide options. The 23-year-old left-sided attacker switches within South African football as Kruger prepare for the new Premier Division campaign.

Zwane arrives at Kruger United having most recently played for Casric Stars, where he operated primarily as a left winger. His move represents a step into the Betway Premiership, giving him the platform to test himself at the highest domestic level after emerging in the lower tiers.

Capable of stretching play on the flank and offering attacking width, Zwane’s preferred role on the left gives Kruger United additional balance in forward areas. His age also means the club are bringing in a player with senior experience but still at an early stage of his career.

The transfer was completed on 19 July 2026, with registration formalities finalised in time for Zwane to link up with his new team-mates ahead of the upcoming league programme. The move keeps the South African in his home country, while offering him a fresh environment and new competition for a starting place.

Zwane’s arrival further underlines Kruger United’s intent to deepen their squad for the challenges of the Betway Premiership season, with the winger now officially on the club’s books following his switch from Casric Stars.
