I don’t know where Mohamed Salah will play next season, says agent

Mohamed Salah’s future remains unresolved, with the Egyptian forward’s agent revealing that a decision on the former Liverpool star’s next club could be made soon.

Salah became a free agent after mutually terminating his Liverpool contract a year before its scheduled expiry, bringing an end to his successful spell at Anfield.

The 34-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, while Major League Soccer clubs are also believed to be monitoring his situation. Reports have additionally suggested that the Egypt international could remain in Europe.

Providing an update on the ongoing speculation, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, indicated that clarity over the player’s future may not be far away.

“We still do not know where Mohamed will play next season, but we may know very soon,” Abbas wrote on social media, according to the Liverpool Echo.

He also stressed that Salah’s camp would not entertain discussions with clubs that do not fit the player’s ambitions.

“It is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn’t want to play for, just for the sake of noise.”

Salah’s next destination is expected to attract significant attention, with several clubs across different continents reportedly interested in securing the services of one of the most decorated forwards of his generation.
