Sori Mane: Guinea-Bissau defender leaves Torpedo Kutaisi to become free agent

Guinea-Bissau and Portugal-qualified centre-back Sori Mane has left Georgian side Torpedo Kutaisi and is now a free agent after his departure from the Erovnuli Liga club was finalised on 17 July 2026.

The 30-year-old defender moves on after a spell with Torpedo Kutaisi in Georgia’s top flight, where he had been part of a side competing in the Erovnuli Liga. His exit means he is now without a club and available to sign elsewhere on a free transfer.

Mane’s most recent stint in Georgia allowed him to establish himself as an experienced option at the heart of defence, operating primarily as a centre-back. His market valuation of around €300,000 underlines the level at which he has been competing in recent seasons and the profile he brings as an international-standard player for Guinea-Bissau.

Born in Guinea-Bissau but also holding eligibility for Portugal, Mane has built a career that combines domestic league experience with international exposure. His next move will offer any prospective club an experienced central defender with knowledge of top-flight football in multiple environments.

The completion of his exit from Torpedo Kutaisi confirms Mane’s status as a free agent ahead of the new campaign.
