Mohamed Rayane Anane: Tunisia winger at ES Sahel linked with Red Star Belgrade move

Tunisia winger Mohamed Rayane Anane of ES Sahel is being linked with a move to Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade as the Belgrade club explore options to strengthen their wide attacking positions.

The 19-year-old left winger, who plays his club football in the Tunisian Ligue 1, is under contract with ES Sahel until 30 June 2029, meaning any deal would require the Belgrade side to negotiate a transfer fee rather than pursue a free transfer. Anane currently has a reported market value of €450,000, a figure likely to form a reference point in any talks between the clubs.

Anane has become a regular for ES Sahel since stepping up from the club’s U21 side on 1 January 2025, accumulating 36 league appearances and contributing five goals and two assists. His performances in domestic competition have been supplemented by outings in continental football, adding goals in the CAF Confederation Cup and further exposure beyond Tunisia.

Red Star’s interest comes with Anane still in the early stages of his senior career, but already established enough at ES Sahel to command a long-term contract. The winger, who prefers to operate from the left despite being right-footed, has featured extensively for the first team, passing the 2,000-minute mark in league action.

For now, Anane remains an ES Sahel player on a deal running to 2029, leaving the Tunisian club in a strong position should any formal approach from Red Star materialise.
