Alaeddine Bouallegui: Tunisia winger joins Sur SC on free transfer

Tunisia left-sided midfielder Alaeddine Bouallegui has joined Omani club Sur SC on a free transfer after a spell without a club. The 28-year-old, who prefers to operate on the left of midfield, has signed a deal running until 31 May 2027.

Bouallegui arrives in Oman with solid experience from the Tunisian top flight, where he made close to 60 Ligue 1 appearances and featured regularly in domestic cup competitions. He most recently played for Al-Gharraf, having left Tunisian side CA Bizertin on a free transfer in July 2025 before becoming unattached in January 2026.

The move to Sur SC ends a six-month period without a club for the Tunisian, whose current market valuation stands at around €150,000. His senior career has taken him through several clubs in Tunisia, including ES Metlaoui and Jendouba Sport, following his early years with Olympique Beja after leaving the youth ranks of Club Africain.

Bouallegui has built a reputation as a reliable option on the flank, contributing goals and assists across league and cup campaigns in Tunisia. His minutes across Ligue 1, relegation play-outs and the Tunisian Cup underline a player accustomed to competitive pressure at senior level.

By securing Bouallegui on a free transfer, Sur SC add an experienced, left-footed midfielder to their squad ahead of the new Jindal League campaign.
