Saad Gamal: Egyptian winger joins Samanoud on free transfer from Dekernes

Egyptian left winger Saad Gamal has joined Samanoud on a free transfer from Dekernes, signing a contract with his new club until 30 June 2028.

The 30-year-old, who operates primarily on the left side of attack, moves after a lengthy spell on the books of Dekernes, where he had been since 2020. His switch to Samanoud is a permanent move and comes at no transfer fee, giving his new side an experienced wide option without a cash outlay.

Gamal’s arrival continues a career largely spent within the same regional circuit. After progressing from his boyhood side’s youth ranks, he first stepped into senior football with Sinbelaween in 2014. He then earned a move to Dekernes, where he became a regular part of the squad and later spent time away on loan.

During the 2022-23 campaign, Gamal left Dekernes temporarily to join Nabaroh on a loan deal. He then returned to Dekernes in 2024 at the end of that spell, before now making a full-time switch to Samanoud ahead of the new season.

Gamal has tasted national cup action, recording an appearance in the Egypt Cup in which he featured for 34 minutes. His experience across league and cup levels adds depth and competition in the attacking positions for Samanoud.

The deal, completed on 16 July 2026, ties Gamal to Samanoud for the next two years and secures his services as a free-transfer addition from Dekernes.
