Simba SC release seven players as squad overhaul continues ahead of new season

Tanzanian giants Simba SC have confirmed the departure of seven players as the club continues its squad restructuring ahead of the upcoming season.

The Msimbazi Reds have parted ways with Chamou Karaboue, Naby Camara, Edwin Balua, Joshua Mutale, Awesu Awesu, Omari Omari and Moussa Camara as part of their plans to reshape the squad for the new campaign.

The exits mark another major step in Simba SC’s ongoing squad overhaul, with the club looking to refresh its playing personnel and build a stronger team capable of competing on multiple fronts.

Several of the released players struggled to secure regular playing time during their spells at the club, and Simba have now opted to make changes as preparations for the new season gather momentum.

The Tanzanian giants are expected to remain active in the transfer market as they seek to strengthen key areas of the squad and assemble a competitive side for domestic and continental challenges.

Simba SC, one of East Africa’s most successful clubs, will be aiming to return stronger in the new campaign after assessing their performances and identifying areas that require improvement.

The club’s latest decisions underline their commitment to a long-term squad development strategy as they prepare for another demanding season.
