Justin Njinmah resumes full training amid Hull interest

Justin Njinmah is fully back in team training at Werder Bremen after shaking off recent muscle problems.

The 25-year-old German-Ghanaian attacker had been working on a reduced load, but the club now says he is again taking part in all exercises with the squad, a timely boost as pre-season intensifies.

Over the past days, Njinmah’s sessions were carefully managed to avoid setbacks, with only dosed work on the training pitch. His return to full intensity means coach Ole Werner can once more count on his pace and direct running when preparing the team for the new campaign.

At the same time, Njinmah’s name continues to circulate in the transfer market. After reports of interest from Hull City, club owner Acun Ilıcalı has now confirmed the Championship side are genuinely monitoring him. “Yes, there is interest. He is one of the players on our list,” Ilıcalı told the Hull Daily Mail, while stressing that Werder’s forward is just one option among around 20 attacking targets.

Hull plan to take their time before deciding whether to push for Njinmah specifically, so it remains open if this interest will turn into concrete talks.
