Goduine Koyalipou: Central African Republic forward joins KV Kortrijk on loan from Lens
KV Kortrijk have signed Central African Republic forward Goduine Koyalipou from French side Lens on a season-long loan. The 26-year-old centre-forward, who also holds French nationality, joins the Jupiler Pro League club with the deal running until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to Lens.
Koyalipou arrives in Belgium having been most recently on the books of Lens in Ligue 1, where he moved in January 2025 from Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia in a €2m transfer. He spent the second half of last season back in France with Angers, also on loan from Lens, before returning to the northern club at the end of that spell.
Born in Bangui and standing at 1.84m, the right-footed striker has built a reputation as a consistent scorer across several European leagues. His most prolific campaign came in the Challenger Pro League with SK Beveren, where he struck 16 goals in 30 matches and finished as the division’s top scorer in 2023-24. He has also recorded double figures in Bulgaria’s efbet Liga, scoring 14 times in 16 appearances for CSKA Sofia.
Koyalipou has experience in top-flight competitions in France, Spain and Switzerland, with outings in Ligue 1 for Lens, LaLiga for Levante and the Swiss Super League for Lausanne-Sport. Across his time in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 combined, he has made more than 80 league appearances in French football.
Koyalipou will wear the number 10 shirt at KV Kortrijk during his loan stay from Lens for the 2026-27 season.
