Brooklyn Leipus: Lithuania-South Africa midfielder leaves FA Siauliai to become free agent

Lithuania-South Africa attacking midfielder Brooklyn Leipus has left FA Siauliai and become a free agent after reaching the end of his spell with the Lithuanian club.

Leipus, 18, departs with a market valuation of €50,000 and is now without a club following his exit on 16 July 2026. The right-footed playmaker had been on the books of FA Siauliai since January 2026, having joined the Top Lyga side on a free transfer from Swindon Supermarine.

During his time in Lithuania, Leipus featured across league and cup competitions, making a combined 20 appearances in the I Lyga, Top Lyga and Lithuanian Cup. He scored once in the second tier, finding the net in I Lyga action, and accumulated more than 1,000 competitive minutes for Siauliai’s set-up.

Born in August 2007 and standing at 1.71m, Leipus operates primarily as an attacking midfielder. His move into Lithuanian football followed a developmental spell in England that included time with Bristol Rovers’ under-18 side and loans at non-league clubs Cinderford and Didcot before he switched to Swindon Supermarine in 2025.

Leipus’ contract with FA Siauliai has now concluded, confirming his status as a free agent and bringing his brief stint in Lithuanian football to an end.
