Adda Derder: Algeria Right-Back Joins MB Rouissat on Free Transfer from ES Setif

Algerian defender Adda Derder has joined Ligue 1 side MB Rouissat on a free transfer from ES Setif. The 28-year-old right-back, born in Tiaret, moves after his contract with Setif expired, remaining in the Algerian top flight with his new club.

Derder, who prefers to operate on the right side of defence, strengthens Rouissat’s back line as they prepare for the new campaign. The move keeps him in familiar surroundings, with MB Rouissat also competing in Ligue 1, and comes at a time when his market value is estimated at around €75,000.

The defender spent last season with ES Setif, having arrived there in 2025, also on a free transfer from RC Kouba. During his time at Setif he featured in both the league and domestic cup, gaining top-flight minutes that underlined his suitability for another Ligue 1 role.

Across league and cup action last season, Derder made 17 competitive appearances, including 15 in Ligue 1. He totalled more than 700 minutes on the pitch in all competitions, offering consistent depth on the right side of defence and adding experience to Setif’s squad.

Derder now links up with MB Rouissat with immediate effect, joining the club’s defensive options as a free agent signing ahead of the new season.
