Oussama Lamlioui: Raja Casablanca eye move for RS Berkane and Morocco forward

Oussama Lamlioui, the Moroccan centre-forward currently at RS Berkane, is being linked with a move to Botola Pro rivals Raja Casablanca as the Casablanca giants look to reinforce their attack with a proven domestic goalscorer.

The 30-year-old, born in Casablanca and valued at around €850,000, has emerged as one of the standout forwards in Moroccan football over recent seasons. A move to Raja would mark a return to his home city and a high-profile switch within the Botola Pro landscape, with both clubs competing at the top end of the league and in continental competitions.

Lamlioui joined RS Berkane from SCC Mohammedia in July 2023 and has built an impressive scoring record in the Moroccan top flight, registering 45 goals in 123 Botola Pro appearances. He has also been effective on the continental stage, with eight goals in 20 CAF Confederation Cup outings.

His status has risen further over the past campaign, having helped Berkane to the CAF Confederation Cup title in 2024-25. Over the same season he finished as top scorer in that competition and at the African Nations Championship, hitting five and six goals respectively, underlining his influence in both club and international tournament football.

Lamlioui wears the number 9 shirt for Berkane and operates through the middle, capable on either foot. With no fixed end date publicly known on his current deal, Berkane would be in a position to negotiate a fee if Raja decide to formalise their interest in the forward.
