Semo: Egypt winger joins La Viena FC from Diamond SC on long-term deal

La Viena FC have signed Egyptian right winger Semo from Diamond SC on a long-term contract running until 30 June 2029. The 27-year-old, who can operate across the front line and is comfortable on both feet, joins the ambitious Egyptian side ahead of the new campaign.

Semo arrives at La Viena after a spell with Diamond SC that included a loan to top-flight side Aswan SC in the 2025-26 season. His move to Aswan was initially on a temporary basis in January 2026 before he returned to Diamond at the end of the loan in June.

Capable of playing wide on the right of attack, the 1.74m winger brings experience from the Egyptian Premier League, where he has made 22 appearances, scoring twice and providing two assists. He also featured in the Egypt Cup, adding further top-level minutes to his record.

Before joining Diamond SC in August 2024, Semo spent a season with Dekernes after leaving Ittihad Alexandria on a free transfer in the summer of 2023. Loan spells earlier in his career included a stint at Qanah from Ittihad, following his move to the Alexandria club from Mansoura in 2020.

Born on 1 December 1998, Semo now commits the prime years of his career to La Viena FC, with his contract tying him to the club until the end of the 2028-29 season.
