Eintracht Frankfurt close in on Noel Aseko signing

Noel Aseko is on the verge of joining Eintracht Frankfurt, with the transfer now reportedly fully agreed between the Bundesliga club and Bayern Munich.

The 20-year-old defensive midfielder is expected to undergo his medical soon before the move is officially announced.

Frankfurt have pushed hard for Aseko for months, and the deal underlines how highly they rate him. Reports say the fee will be 12 million euros, while the contract runs until 2030 and includes an option for one extra season. Bayern, however, have not secured a buyback clause in the agreement.

The move had already been described as complete by some outlets last week, but the latest reporting suggests the final paperwork is now nearly done. For Frankfurt, that means a long-targeted signing is finally about to become reality.

Aseko is regarded as one of the club’s priority additions for the future, and sporting director Markus Krosche is said to have worked on the deal since March. With the player now close to switching clubs, the announcement should follow in the coming days.
