Fathi El Sayed: Egyptian left-back joins Harras Hodoud from El Obour in completed transfer
Egyptian defender Fathi El Sayed has joined Harras Hodoud from El Obour, with the 24-year-old left-back sealing a move to the club on 15 July 2026.
El Sayed, who operates primarily at left-back, links up with Harras Hodoud after emerging from the domestic scene with El Obour. The transfer gives Harras Hodoud an additional option on the left side of defence as they shape their squad for upcoming competitions.
Born on 20 April 2002, El Sayed has already gained experience in Egyptian domestic football despite his age. He has featured in the Premier League, the Egyptian League Cup and the Egypt Cup, building a profile as a defender capable of handling different competitions.
Last season, El Sayed made 10 league appearances, adding a further two outings in the Egyptian League Cup. Across those matches he accumulated more than 300 minutes of game time, offering depth and rotation possibilities across the back line.
Harras Hodoud have registered El Sayed both as a club player and at national-club level, underlining their intention to integrate him fully into their defensive unit. The move from El Obour is a straightforward club-to-club transfer within Egyptian football, with El Sayed now officially part of the Harras Hodoud squad from the start of the 2026–27 campaign.
