Pape Ousmane Sakho: Senegal winger linked with Raja Casablanca exit as free agent

Senegalese winger Pape Ousmane Sakho is being linked with a move away from Raja Casablanca, with the 29-year-old reportedly set to become a free agent when his contract expires in June 2026.

Sakho, a right-footed left winger born in Rufisque, joined Raja in August 2024 from French side Quevilly-Rouen on a free transfer and has since established himself as part of the Moroccan club’s attacking options. His current deal runs to 30 June 2026, raising the prospect that the Botola Pro Inwi side could face a decision over whether to cash in before then or risk losing him without a fee.

The forward has featured regularly in Morocco’s top flight, making 37 league appearances and contributing three goals and three assists. He has also gained continental experience in the CAF Champions League, where he has played 23 times, and in the CAF Confederation Cup, in which he has scored twice across 10 outings.

Sakho’s current estimated value stands at €175,000, a figure that may influence interest from clubs assessing a low-cost wide option with both domestic and African competition experience. Before his move to North Africa, he won the Senegalese league title with Teungueth FC in the 2020-21 season, a campaign that helped propel him to spells with Simba SC in Tanzania and then into French football.

For now, Sakho remains under contract at Raja Casablanca, with his future likely to come into sharper focus as his deal edges closer to its 2026 expiry date.
