NFamara Diaby: Franco-Guinean winger joins Chateaubriant on free transfer from Les Herbiers
Franco-Guinean winger N’Famara Diaby has joined Chateaubriant on a free transfer from Les Herbiers. The 25-year-old left-sided attacker makes the move within French football after his spell with the Vendee-based club came to an end.
Diaby, who can operate primarily on the left wing, strengthens Chateaubriant’s wide options ahead of the new campaign. His arrival follows a period with Les Herbiers in which he gained experience in the French league system and established himself at senior level.
Born in 2000, Diaby holds both Guinean and French nationality and comes into his peak years with the opportunity to take on a more prominent role at his new club. His ability to play from the flank adds flexibility to Chateaubriant’s attacking set-up and increases competition for places in the wide positions.
The move marks a fresh chapter for the winger as he swaps Les Herbiers for Chateaubriant on a permanent basis, with the transfer completed as a free move.
